Admission Procedure

In consonance with public notice advertised by Federation of Self Financed Colleges of education (Regd.) Punjab in the newspapers as empowered by Honorable Punjab & Haryana High Court vide C.W.P. No. 10091 of 2009 in favour of the federation, to devise their own procedure of admissions of students to the B.Ed. programme. Thus, the Federation of Self Financed Colleges of Education (Regd.) Punjab has formulated the following guidelines for the B.Ed. admission for academic session 2015-2017 of 2 year duration, for Self Financed Member B.Ed. Colleges located in the state of Punjab, as per NCTE/affiliating university norms. Eligibility, Division of Seats and Reservation of Seats is according to the latest notification by the Govt. of Punjab, Deptt. of Higher Education vide Notification No.14/18/2011-3Edu.1/464275 dated 17.04.2015. The following scheme is notified for the information of all concerned.

The candidates are required to present the original certificates issued by the appropriate authority at the time of admission. The Candidates selected for admission will be required to deposit the dues and three passport size photographs and the required documents immediately. The admission of the candidates who fail to deposit their dues by the notified time will automatically stand canceled and seat so vacated will be offered to the candidates next on merit.


Documents to be attached with application form

  1. The original Mark Sheets of Matric, 10+2, Graduation, Post Graduation and an attested photograph.
  2. Character Certificate duly attested by the Head of the Institution last attended.
  3. Certificate of merit for the meritorious performance in games or co-curricuiar activities from the Head of the Institution.
  4. Those students who have passed their last examination from a University other than Punjabi University, Patiala must get eligibility certificate from Registration Branch of the Punjabi University in a prescribed form,
  5. Migration Certificate in case of candidates who have graduated from a university other than Punjabi University. Certificate of Reserved Category daimed from competent authority.
  6. Cerfiticates of Reserved catagory claimed from competent authority.
  7. Punjab Residence/Domicile Certificate.
  8. Medical-Fitness-Certificate from Medical Officer.
